"I did it once, I can do it again." This is where we start with this week's guest, Jamie Lackey, on building a FIA mindset.
We knew we needed Jamie on the show for 2 reasons:
1. She's a woman helping women through individual support and systemic change (YES!)
AND
2. She is going through her own real-time reckoning of what it means to be a woman, mom, and CEO on the other side of seeing your big ass dreams come true. (SAY MORE!)
Jamie says one universal truth she knows to be true is, "Motherhood is hard." And, that's why she started Helping Mamas, a nonprofit dedicated to getting diapers and period products in the hands of moms and girls in need.
What started as a dream born from a social worker who saw a gap, has turned into a thriving business serving 60,000+ children and distributing over 2 million products (and counting). With realizing these big dreams of making the world a better place, comes the restlessness, pressure and insecurity of, "What's next?"
Jamie has had her share of FIA moments, and this conversation is her take on how those evolve into a FIA mindset. Like we said, "I did it once, I can do it again."
